Respite at Rogerson House is planned, short-term care stays provided right here at our Jamaica Plain community. Respite stays give families of those with cognitive loss or memory issues a break from the daily time and emotional challenges of providing care.
Respite Care Overview
Rogerson House respite care guests have the same access to the same welcoming home environment, therapeutic programs, and social activities that our full-time residents receive with us. Our experienced staff deliver individualized attention supported by the latest dementia care practices.
Respite care can also be an excellent way for those experiencing cognitive issues to try memory care assisted living on a temporary basis. Assisted living of any kind can be a big step for anyone, so trying it with no long-term commitment can be a great way for individuals to see if it is right for them, then share their impressions with family members.
The cost of a respite stay at Rogerson House starts at $400.00 per day, with add-on services available. Please be sure to ask us about our income-based reduced rates, which we can offer thanks to a generous donation from a Rogerson House family.
