Rogerson House strives to provide the highest-quality compassionate care and support to those with memory loss and their families. From programming and staffing to the special design of Rogerson House, we aim to maximize the functional and cognitive abilities of our residents and participants through a positive, personalized approach to memory care. And as a mission-driven nonprofit, we are beholden only to our residents and their well-being, not shareholders.
Our History
Originally opened as the Boston Alzheimer’s Center in 1997, Rogerson House memory care assisted living was the first community in the Boston area to provide care exclusively to individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. Owned and operated by Rogerson Communities, Rogerson House is recognized as both a pioneer and a leader in the field of dementia and memory care throughout Boston and the New England healthcare community.
Our Location
Adjacent to Jamaica Pond, nestled in the beautiful Emerald Necklace on more than three acres of land, Rogerson House is an oasis in the city featuring raised garden beds, quiet walking paths, a gazebo, and a heated greenhouse. Residents and day program participants can also enjoy easy access to nearby art museums, Symphony Hall, Arnold Arboretum, world-class medical centers, and more. Best of all, our central location makes it easy for family and friends to plan a visit.
